The secret is Accurate Core Technology (ACT), DR’s process of reinforcing the hexagonal core wire and filling in microscopic imperfections along its full length. A cleaner, more consistent core translates directly into steadier intonation, fuller tone, and longer string life — the foundation every wrap wire relies on.
These are stainless steel strings, chosen for their bright, cutting attack and resistance to wear, finished with ball ends for standard bass bridges.
