Description
Jim Dunlop built the Rev. Willy’s Lottery Strings alongside Billy Gibbons to capture the exact feel and voice behind his trademark “hot, blue, and righteous” Texas tone. Rather than a generic super-light set, this gauge combination was worked out directly with Gibbons to keep his leads cutting and his pinch harmonics squealing on command, without losing the low-end punch that anchors his rhythm playing.
The M6 set runs an ultra-light .007 top string through a .038 wound low E, giving you easy bending and vibrato up top paired with enough girth on the bottom strings to keep chords full-bodied. The result is a set that stays soulful, rich, and clear whether you’re playing behind the beat or tearing into a solo.
- Gauges: .007, .009, .011, .020, .030, .038
- Designed in collaboration with Billy Gibbons
- Tuned for punchy, articulate lead tone and clean pinch harmonics
- Full 6-string electric guitar set
If you’re chasing that unmistakable ZZ Top growl and clarity, this is the exact recipe Gibbons himself helped develop.
